The Texas Estate Custom built by the NFL Hall of Famer Deion “Prime Time” Sanders is again on the market, this time listed for $ 5.5 million and needs a serious renaissance.
Built in 1999 at the height of Sanders’ career, the mansion of almost 30,000 square feet was designed to adapt to its older person than life.
Located in what was once a distribution of 112 acres in the city of Prosper, about an hour north of Dallas, the house reflected the touch of Sanders with strong ceilings, bright marble lands and comforts that include a domestic theater, an interior training camp, a ball and a basketball court.
The residence also has nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and roof windows that have overlooked the remaining 6 hectares of the original estate.
It appears a bit obsolete, from the 1990’s, the residence is equipped with bright colors that include red paint and velvet lands and panels.
In the open air, the property includes a tourist -style pool, an 8 -hectare pond and a 14 car garage.
Although Sanders sold the property in 2014, before most of the land was deployed and redeveloped in a subdivision called “The Montclair”, its mansion remained intact.
It has been vacant for more than a decade.
The house changed hands in 2021 when a frisco-based LLC bought it at the auction, as it meant to restore it for the owner’s wife. These plans did not come to fruition.
He has not been lived since Deion owned it, Heather Stevens of the Frisco agency, which manages the new list, said at Mansion Global.
The property was once for $ 12.8 million in 2016, but after multiple price cuts, including a fall to $ 7.5 million in 2019, it was finally sold with a significant discount.
Currently valued about $ 7 million, the current demand price offers what Stevens described as “$ 1.5 million in integrated capital.”
The tour comes when Sanders, now a football coach of the University of Colorado, is back in the spotlight in the midst of the unexpected tomb of his son Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round of this year’s NFL Draft.
Sanders himself won two Super Bowl titles in 1995 and 1996, first with the San Francisco 49ers and then with the Dallas Cowboys. He also made an appearance of the world series in 1992, making it the only athlete to play in a Super Bowl and World Series.
